Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TrackLog (“the service”), operated by CodeCall Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or otherwise using TrackLog, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. The service

TrackLog is a game backlog tracking tool that lets you catalogue your games, track progress and play sessions, and view stats and insights. We offer a free tier limited to 10 games and a paid Pro tier with additional capacity and features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
  • One account per person. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

4. Free and Pro tiers

The free tier allows you to track up to 10 games. The Pro tier unlocks an unlimited library and advanced features such as detailed insights and additional integrations. Pro is billed on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details. Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and your Pro access will continue until the end of the current paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods, except where a refund is required under UK consumer law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the service.
  • Abuse or manipulate the How Long To Beat (HLTB) community data submission system, including submitting false or misleading playtimes.
  • Create automated accounts or use bots to access the service.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure.

7. Game data and third-party sources

Game metadata including titles, cover images, and release information is sourced from IGDB (igdb.com), a Twitch service. Completion time estimates are sourced from HowLongToBeat (howlongtobeat.com). TrackLog is not affiliated with or endorsed by IGDB, Twitch, or HowLongToBeat. This data is community-submitted and provided “as is” — we make no guarantees as to its accuracy or completeness.

8. Intellectual property

TrackLog, including its software, user interface, and branding, is owned by CodeCall Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. The game library data you create remains yours; you grant us only the limited licence necessary to store and display it to you as part of providing the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. On deletion, your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, CodeCall Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
